Which biometric machines work with Gym Ledger?
Gym Ledger currently supports the eSSL X990, AiFace-Mars and AiFace Magnum. Model variants and firmware can differ, so contact us before buying or configuring a machine.
How many members can I manage with the biometric integration?
Capacity depends on the biometric machine and verification method. See the supported-device table for the manufacturer’s face and fingerprint capacities.
Can I use a biometric machine I already own?
Possibly. Send us the exact model name, firmware version and available network options. We will check its ADMS and access-control compatibility before setup.
Do I need a computer running at the gym?
No always-on front-desk computer is required for a supported cloud-connected setup. The biometric machine contacts the Gym Ledger service through its network connection.
Can expired members be stopped automatically?
On a correctly configured access-control device, Gym Ledger sends membership validity information to the machine. The device can refuse entry after that validity ends. The electronic lock and expiration rule must be configured during installation.
What happens during a temporary internet interruption?
A supported device can continue enforcing the last membership-validity date it received. New members, renewals and other changes require the device to reconnect before the machine receives them.
Can the machine connect through Ethernet, Wi-Fi or SIM?
Network options depend on the exact device and variant. Ethernet is the preferred installation. Some supported models offer Wi-Fi, while cellular connectivity is model-specific and must be confirmed before purchase.
Where do I find the server address and port?
Use server address 8.231.77.30 and server port 8081. These are Gym Ledger’s cloud ADMS connection details. After configuring the machine, register its serial number in Gym Ledger.
Does Gym Ledger store fingerprint images?
Members enrol on the biometric machine. The current single-device workflow does not require Gym Ledger to display or handle a fingerprint image in the gym owner’s app.
Can I use QR attendance instead?
Yes. A gym can use Gym Ledger’s QR attendance when biometric hardware is not required, or use QR as an alternative check-in path for selected members.
